Hotel “Abastumani Residence” is located in Georgia, on the southern mountainsides covered with coniferous forests of the Meskheti range, climate-balneology resort in Abastumani.
Scientific studying of medical characteristics of Abastumani started in the 70s of the 19thcentury.
Dr. Adolph Rammert was the chief of administration of mineral waters of Tbilisi, province those days, who took an active part in planning and imbodiment of Abastumani resort.
Resort Abastumani was well-known in the former USSR, by its unique microclimate and treating characteristics of the air (lungs, bronchial tubes, thyroid gland) and thermic waters.
There is also astronomical observatory in Abastumani, which has been operating since 1932. The history of the observatory started at the end of the 19th cent.
Abastumani as particular mountain treatment resort zone is on the list among world’s three, where you can breathe air full of unique medicinal qualities (specially for lungs, bronchial tubes, thyroid gland ) and enjoy unique nature, use ozone therapy and sunbathing. Resort Abastumani is located in the south area of Georgia – Samtskhe-Javakheti, in Adigeni region on 1300m. altitude.
Meskheti (Ajaria-Imereti) range on the south hillside in the canyon of the river Othskhe and borders Borjomi-Kharagauli reserve, from Tbilisi 220 km, from the town of Akhaltsikhe 25 km long.
Besides treatment characteristics Abastumani noteworthy with its location – as 40kms you can get to Sairme through Zekari crossing or back. There’s Kutaisi international airport in 100 km’s, through Goderdzi crossing (150km) you can get to Batumi and other resorts of the Black Sea coast.
The climate of resort Abastumani is excellent means for prophylaxis of lung illnesses, spring time is especially useful, when pollination of pines starts.

Замечательная гостиница!
Hotel's advantages:Гостиница расположена в прекрасном месте, прямо посреди леса. Воздух невероятно чистый. Останавливались здесь с ребенком, все очень понравилось. Трехразовое питание (все вкусно), чистые номера, уютный двор. Обязательно сюда вернемся. Советую.

Hotel's advantages:Провели в этой гостинице 4 замечательных дня. Наслаждались видом на речку из окна уютного номера. Тишина, свежий воздух и спокойствие – весь этот комплект получили в этом отеле посреди леса. Персонал вежливый и отзывчивый. В номере были одноразовые тапочки, полотенца мыло. Чисто и аккуратно. Еда простая, но вкусная.
